Trump Ends Covid "Vaccine" Requirement for Green Card
Created on: 2025-01-24
On Jan 22nd, President Trump cancelled the requirement for legal immigrants to the USA to prove covid vaccination to obtain a green card.
This policy was put in place by Biden in October 2021, following mandates made in September '21 for many US citizens: federal employees, healthcare workers, and employees of large companies.
As Edward Dowd has shown, Q3 of 2021 saw a dramatic increase of excess mortality especially among working 24-64 year olds, coinciding with mandates.
Many of Biden's mandates were removed in May 2023, after federal court rulings struck some of them down.
However, the mandate for legal immigrants to prove covid vaccination remained on the books. The removal of this on Wednesday is a welcome move, however, immigrants are still required to have numerous other vaccines, including polio, hep. A & B, MMR, and more.
