Too Controversial, Tech' and Bribe Updates

Greetings all! Apologies for the looong delay. Much has happened here.

Firstly, to get more members, I've sought to broaden out the advertising. Some of you found this site via magazine ad's. A few months back I contacted another magazine with a decent sized readership, to place an ad'. The staff member I spoke with said she supported what I'm doing, but they declined the ad' as the subject matter of Unjibbed is "too controversial". It's not the only time I've heard this.

I also contacted a few independent writers who were shaking the tin for more paying subscribers. I offered them the following: mention this site to your readers, with a link that's specific to you, and if anyone joins through that link and later spends money here, you'll get a healthy commission.

A couple politely declined as they're writing about health but not dating - that's completely fair enough. Others who were writing about dating but not health either didn't reply, or, in one case told me, "I don’t discriminate against those who chose to be vaccinated."

I don't like to play the game of who's the most discriminated against. In terms of dating and community sites, there are endless sites serving different niches, based on lifestyle, subculture, politics, values, fandom . . . . Is that discrimination, or is it selection? You choose.

However it is a fact that during covid, the unvaxxed and anti-lockdown protesters were, in Western society, among the most discriminated against. Politicians, comedians, and dumb as wood celebrities, took egregious shots at the unvaxxed.

When protesting against lockdowns, we faced the threat - and often the reality - of police violence, even though notably larger protests, or even mass sporting events in the same time period, did not suffer police violence. I'm told many of the police have since discovered, to their chagrin, that our warnings about the dangers of the vax were well-founded.

Many of us unvaxxed were forced out of the jobs we dependeded on; we've been misrepresented, and stigmatised.

Other groups have to suffer discrimination too, but society does not generally condone it. During covid, our dear leaders - across the political spectrum - enjoyed piling on with their uninformed verbal attacks.

So yes, like everyone, in my personal life, I do discriminate: I discriminate in favour of those who, during that time of great and prolonged duress, had the intelligence, the foresight, the integrity, and the courage to say "No." We collectively fought off the attempt at universal vaccine passports, and many of us faced financial oblivion when we did so.

We're here because we said "No," and because we have a preference for dating and socialising among others like us. Some of us made a decision to date exclusively among other non-mRNA vaxxed people - for reasons of very valid health concerns, and, equally, because of shared values.

I commented previously on a woman I know who was pregnant last time I saw her, who does not want her child having the usual childhood vaccines, but the father does, and won't be persuaded otherwise. We avoid all of those problems by seeking new relationships with others who are on the same page as us.

And on the community side, we will build communities that we know - as much as anyone can - are made of people who will stand strongly together when the next medical shakedown occurs.

So that's us, with no apologies for our choices.
